Scholastic Book Fair at the GCL!

On June 16th through June 18th, the Children's Library will host the Scholastic Book Fair in the Gordonelle Williams Hall Auditorium. This fair is geared towards younger readers, both beginners and advanced.

The Fair begins at 9:30 on Tuesday. At 10:30, Lilly (the character of author Kevin Henkes' popular series) will make a special appearance, and she will follow up with a second appearance at 6:00 PM. Don't miss Lilly and her purple purse!














On Thursday, Curious George will make his own special appearances at 10:30 and 6:00. The Man with The Yellow Hat will not be present, so he's guaranteed to run amok!














Please join us at the Scholastic Book Fair and help support the Garland County Library. Sample catalogs are available at our front desk, which will show a wide-ranging selection including old favorites and new books, easy readers and chapter books of kid-friendly genres that include mystery, fantasy, family/friendship, inspirational, adventure, reference, pop-ups, and Star Wars! We're sure you'll find plenty to choose from at the legendary Scholastic Book Fair.

We will not be accepting credit/debit cards, so make sure to bring cash or a check.
